The table indicates that patient perceptions of the quality of care at the three health centres (Longston, Peveril, and Marchbank Centre) differ significantly. Patients evaluated different services of these centres from 1 (very poor) to 10 (excellent). Overall, it is evident from the table that Peveril Centre got the highest ratings for all the services among the other two.
With the highest scores across all service areas and an overall mean of 8.3, the Peveril Centre is by far the highest rated. At just 5.8, Longston was the centre with the lowest overall performance, followed by Marchbank at 7.2. One aspect that stands out is that, with scores ranging from 8 to 8.7 in all three centres, doctors’ service received relatively strong evaluations. Among all the services, pharmacy received the lowest ratings at Longston, Peveril, and Marchbank, with scores of 5.1, 6.3, and 5.8, respectively.
There’s a lot of variation when it comes to the other aspects of provision. The biggest rating difference found in Response to concerns, where Peveril receives the highest score of any aspect (9.6). This is in contrast to Marchbank’s 6.5 and Longston’s meagre 4.3 for this area. All three centres have moderate ratings for child care; however, Longston’s rating is much lower than the other two at 6.3, compared to 7.5 at Peveril and 7.3 at Marchbank.
