- It is recommended that you spend no more than 40 minutes on Writing Task 2, but this is not mandatory.
- An essay must be at least 250 words long.
- It only accounts for about six bands of your writing task.
- Both GT and Academic Writing Task 2 are written in the same style, and the scoring is the same.
