The diagram below describes the structure of a home smokery and how it works. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The schematic depicts the operation of a home smoker and its arrangements. As can be observed, the procedure consists primarily of three steps and only one box above ground level.
There are three parts to the home smokery machine. The first section is a ground-level, empty subterranean space covered by a lid. When the lid is opened, fresh air can enter the machine.
Take note that fresh air then enters the machine’s second section, which is extremely similar to the first. Here, logs are added through the top lid to start a fire. The heat from the fire is directed towards a box via a thin pipe once it has started to burn.
The third component of the apparatus is this box, which is situated at ground level. The food items that require cooking are arranged inside the box. The food is cooked by the heat from the machine’s second section.
